Concept
Busted is an abstract painting of a prison bus. The title refers to the prisoners being busted. It also refers to the bus itself which is called Ted (also written on the side of the bus). Furthermore the title refers to the fact that if you look more careful at the bus, you can see that the perspective isn't always how it supposed to be. If you found it you could say busted, I've got you.
Background Story
After I made a car in She Drives Me Crazy I knew that I could do more with it. I wanted to make a bus and soon came up with Busted. It had to be a prisonbus. I checked Internet a bit. I wanted to have a lot of (prison)bars in the bus and wanted blindfolded/black windows in the back of the bus. I also wanted to use a lot of blue and red is I associate that with sirens.
