Concept
The painting is about watching movies endlessly.
Background Story
When I looked at the möbius strips by M.C. Escher I always had in mind that it also could be used as a mask as it had two holes on either side. When I was asked to make a painting about movies I was thinking about movie strips. As movie strips are very thin, they are good to use in a möbius strip. Using the möbius movie strip as a mask would make things fit even better.
